Navien is the tankless brand we're asked about most. Its condensing units squeeze more heat out of the gas and vent through PVC instead of metal flue pipe, which often makes the install cleaner.

A tankless unit uses a lot of gas at full fire. Many older homes have a gas line sized for a tank, so we check the meter and line size, the vent route and the condensate drain before giving you a price. No surprises after the wall is open.
