Friendly Services runs out of a yard at 773 W A Street in Hayward, and has for two decades. That's not a marketing detail — it's the reason we can get to most of the East Bay quickly, why parts show up fast, and why a lot of our work comes from people we've already done work for.

We're family run and employee owned. The people who run the jobs own a piece of the company, which changes how a job gets done when nobody's watching.

How we work

You get the price before we start

Estimates are free, there's no trip fee, and you approve a written price before anyone touches anything. If we open something up and find a problem the estimate didn't cover, we stop and show you before continuing.

We tell you when not to spend money

Sometimes a water heater is worth repairing and sometimes it isn't. Sometimes a lateral needs a spot repair, not a full replacement. We'd rather give you the smaller answer and keep you as a customer than sell you the bigger one once.

Five-year workmanship warranty

Our work is warrantied for five years — well beyond the one year most shops offer. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty and we handle those claims for you. Drain clearing is the one exclusion, since roots grow back no matter who cleared the line.
