The kind of work this covers
The rule of thumb: if it's a repair, an install, or an adjustment that doesn't belong to a licensed trade of its own, it's on this list. Most of it takes a competent person twenty minutes and the right tool in the truck.

Whole punch lists
The ten small things at once. This is where a handyman visit actually pays — see below.
Send us the whole list
One small job on its own is rarely worth a trip charge to anybody. Ten of them in one visit is a good afternoon's work and a much better deal for you — you're paying for the time, not for six separate visits. So write the whole list down, including the things you assume are too small to mention, and send it over. We'll tell you what fits in one visit and what doesn't.
Where the plumbing background helps
A lot of what people call handyman work sits right next to plumbing. A leaking shower may be a valve or it may be failed caulk. A wobbling toilet may need a new flange or just shimming and a reseal. A vanity swap is carpentry and a supply connection in the same hour. We can tell which is which, and we're licensed for the plumbing half of it — CSLB #1156315, licensed, bonded and insured.
That matters more than it sounds. A lot of handyman work is one wrong guess away from a water problem, and the person holding the wrench should be able to tell the difference before they open the wall rather than after.
What we hand off instead
Some work belongs to another licensed trade, and we'll say so rather than take a swing at it:
- Electrical — panels, circuits, rewiring, and new fixtures on new wiring
- HVAC — furnaces, air conditioning, ducting, and thermostats tied into them
- Roofing — anything past reattaching a downspout
- Structural and permitted work — framing, load-bearing changes, additions
- Full remodels and whole-house repainting
Those go through our Trusted Pro Network — independent, licensed businesses we've worked alongside for years, not subcontractors of ours. You hire and pay them directly, and you can verify any California licence at cslb.ca.gov before you do.
Rentals and turnovers
Between tenants, the punch list is the job: patch the walls, rehang the closet door, reseal the tub, swap the broken blinds, replace the disposal, get the slider rolling again. We do that pass in one visit and invoice it with whatever else the unit needed. See property manager services.
