What we do, and what we hand off

Friendly Services is a licensed plumbing contractor. Plumbing is what we hold a license for and what we perform: water heaters, drains, sewer lines and laterals, leak detection, repiping, gas lines, and fixtures.

Plenty of jobs turn out to need a different trade — the water heater is fine but the circuit feeding it isn't, or a leak got into drywall that now needs repair. Rather than pretend we do everything, we've spent twenty years in this trade collecting the names of people who are actually good at theirs.

How referrals work here

• Referred trades are separate, independently licensed businesses — they are not Friendly Services and are not our employees
• They carry their own license, insurance, and warranty, and you contract with them directly
• We share a name because we'd use them ourselves, not because they paid to be listed
• If someone we referred does poor work, tell us. It affects whether we keep referring them.

Verify anyone before you hire them

Including anyone we name. California license status is public and takes thirty seconds to check at cslb.ca.gov. Ask for a certificate of insurance too — a legitimate contractor will send one without hesitating.
